The following is a quote of part of an e-mail I received from bowhunter Frank Noska of Wasilla, Alaska following a week's hunting with Travis and myself in WMD 4.
"After applying for a Maine moose tag for several years, I finally drew a tag. My bowhunt with Guy Randlett was everything I had hoped for. His knowledge of my hunting area was incredible. His pre-season preparation, organization, scouting, equipment, calling abilities, effort, and overall hard work was second to none. He is a pure gentleman, and a pleasure to hunt with. Living in Alaska, I am around moose regularly and get to hunt them frequently. I learned things on this hunt that I can use in Alaska bowhunting moose for the rest of my life. If I ever get another Maine tag, Guy Randlett's phone will be ringing. Thank you Guy! Frank Noska Bowhunter/Pilot Wasilla, Alaska"
We saw a ton of bulls with Frank, including some in the 50s, and one monster that just doesn't know how close he came to getting a ride to Alaska with Frank. While Frank did not fire an arrow all week, his determination to kill only a book bull was an inspiration to both Travis and me. This was one of the most satisfying hunting experiences I have ever had.
