Entry into Maine's 2009 Moose Permit Drawing will no longer be done with mail-in forms. All applications will be done ONLINE ONLY through the Maine Dept. of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife website www.mefishwildlife.com .  The Dept. will not be sending out any notification to this effect.  The online site is already for you now. Click on the moose on the Maine F & W homepage. The dealine for entry is May 15, 2009 at 11:59 PM. The drawing will be in mid-June. For more detailed information on "seasons & hunt districts", click on the red box at the left (on this website) that has that title.
